About us
Alloa Musical Players was founded nearly 60 years ago out of a desire to present musical theatre works to the local communty. Since its inception, we have worked hard to entertain our audiences and at the same time provide opportunities for personal development and social interaction for our members.
Our team relies exclusively on volunteer help. And remember, a little often goes a long way.
We're always happy to welcome new members who would like to dedicate some of their time to our organisation. If you'd like to lend a hand, please don't hesitate to contactus, new members are always welcome.
OUR AIM
The aim of the Organisation shall be to promote the popularisation of works written for the musical stage and public performance.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To present to the local community, for its enjoyment, works written for the musical stage.
To provide opportunities for local people to develop a variety of skills associated with the musical stage, including singing, dancing, production, and stagecraft.
To provide a social outlet for local people which is linked to the musical stage.
When called upon, to provide entertainment at charitable and other events for the enjoyment of the local community and where appropriate to assist local charities and other groups to raise funds.
